Foil stamping process types are mainly divided into lithographic Foil stamping, engraving Foil stamping + concave convex, Foil stamping + embossing In the flat ironing process, the surface of the hot stamping pattern is flat, and the plate is mainly zinc or red copper (red copper is commonly used), with a general thickness of 2mm. The surface of the hot stamping + concave convex hot stamping pattern is raised in a three-dimensional sense. The plate is mainly copper plate plus resin plate, with a general thickness of 7mm. The surface of the hot stamping + embossing substrate shows obvious lines, and the plate is generally copper, with a general thickness of 2mm or 7mm.

After hot stamping, large area of anodized aluminum is usually hot stamped on spot color ink or unprinted paper, and then UV ink is printed on anodized aluminum. It has high requirements for printing materials such as printing ink, printing equipment and printing personnel. The following points shall be noted in this process:

1. select electrochemical aluminum with surface tension of (3.8-4.6) *10-2n/m to ensure good adhesion of the ink.

2. during hot stamping, it should be noted that hot stamping is not allowed to have bubbles. Surface fogging, reverse drawing, incomplete hot stamping, uneven pressure, etc. Otherwise, during the second printing, the electrochemistry of hot stamping will fall off and accumulate on the blanket, seriously affecting the product quality and production efficiency.

3. comprehensively consider the printing among printing, hot stamping and post hot stamping, and control the temperature and humidity of the workshop environment, so as to avoid quality defects caused by human factors as far as possible. When designing, we should pay attention to whether we can hollow out or separate hot stamping in large-area field hot stamping, so as to reduce the difficulty of hot stamping.
